Meeting News online reports: Hotel occupancy and room rates in the United States rose in the third quarter over the same period last year, indicating the U.S. lodging industry is poised for a recovery, according to the latest report from Smith Travel Research.

Email first, or call (late in the day on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday).
NEVER send attached files to bureaus or your clients! I got one today from a stranger in PowerPoint.
1) What makes you think a speakers bureau rep, who rarely presents is going to know how to use PowerPoint?
2) Most companies block blind bulk email with attachments.
